Anger Management

The Anger Management program is designed for individuals who experience problems related to anger, aggression, and self-control.

Cognitive-based educational programs can promote well-being and strengthen individuals and families and has been identified as a core prevention service.

Effective training and interventions can change attitudes and negative behaviors. BSC teaches practical skills that address issues of communication, anger, decision-making, relationships, and self-control. The proactive skills and techniques help clients from diverse backgrounds create healthy relationships that foster safety and well-being at home, in school, and in the community.

The Anger Management program targets three related ways in which people respond to different circumstances: cognition (thinking), affect (feelings and physiological reactivity), and behavior (doing). Classes include education in each of these response channels that are designed to promote self-control and to enhance interpersonal effectiveness.
